Consistently ranked among the world’s best places to work, Hilti came to us with a brief to completely re-design their worldwide careers site and deliver an online resource that matched expectations of future employers and to tell the story of their commitment to delivering career opportunities to their workforce.
We wanted to tell Hilti's story of exceptional career opportunity and growth potential they offer employees, by featuring the employees themselves as much as possible through the complete re-design. It started with restructuring and re-writing of all content, mapping features and functionality, a new tone of voice, all-new photography, and UI design. The photography (by the fantastic Thom Atkinson and his excellent team) shoots were organised by two precisely planned visits over two days in Liechtenstein & Manchester. UI design had to deliver templates that would be implemented for 38 countries, with the first online incarnation of a recent core brand evolution. The careers section influenced the redesign of the whole site after this project.
